Hammond Bay is "the place" to enjoy kayaking, canoeing, hiking, diving, wind-surfing, sketching or painting, and observe its unique ecosystem. We are located between two wonderful Marine Parks, (Piper's Lagoon Park and Neck Point Park). Both are within short walking distances. Directly in front of our suites lie the quaint historical Shack Islands giving a timeless glimpse into our coastal past.

Whether you are staying in our well-appointed Pipers' Suite, or our comfortable Morningside Mini-Suite - breathtaking views will captivate you. Our three terraced private patios will afford you excellent vantage points to observe the Wild life and Sea life that abounds in our area. Inside or outside - quality is paramount!

Enjoy watching bald eagles and hawks that nest in the waterfront trees, or witness the seagulls or crows fighting with the eagles. Look for harbour seals in summer, or the Sea Lions in winter swimming in the Bay. From time to time you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of migrating Orca whales as they pass by Shack Island. Canada geese, and black Cormorants often swim along the shore. While relaxing on the patios sipping a cool drink, or eating your breakfast, lunch or dinner, toast the cruise ships and yachts as they pass by - day and night in the summer months. Comfortable patio furniture and a BBQ are provided for your exclusive use. You may just be lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves.

Have your camera ready! It is not uncommon to see deer strolling by our front patio gardens or the family of raccoons that live somewhere on our bank. (Please do not feed the animals nor leave food outside). Who is watching who??? The wildlife may just happen to look through your windows and give you a wink!

There is more here than just relaxing! Jump into your panoramic view! Join the sporting enthusiasts by kayaking or canoeing. Walk around Piper's Lagoon and the Headland area. Wander across the oyster beds to Shack Islands at low tide. Beaches are teaming with life. Swim or play amongst it.
